2012: A time of hope!

Below you will find comments I posted to "The Human-Rights Agenda Blog" in response to an essay titled: "An Essay in Honor of Today's Solar Eclipse". You can visit the authors blogspot by visiting: elmachete2012@blogspot.com. I found the essay profound, educational and in tune with many of my own beliefs, beliefs formed by studying various Native American belief systems.
I want to point out one theory I've long held concerning 'Revelations'. Since the early Christians were so intent in eradicating all worship of the Goddess, they often demonized Her, calling Her the 'consort' of Satan. I believe that the predictions of the 'return of Satan' are nothing more than a warning that someday the world will be turned back to the worship of both the Mother and the Great Spirit. To those early builders of Christianity, a time when all people worship the Goddess along with God would be seen as a time of Satan, since they wanted nothing to give Honor to our Mother, whom they villified.
I have long believed that the Christian version of future events might be incorrect or biased. Many other cultures have 'end of the world' scenerios (not to mention flood stories, creations stories, etc) that mirror Christian beliefs but with different endings. The Natives of this continent believe in the Fifth World of Peace, which coinsides with many 2012 prophecies. Many other belief systems see the end of the world as a positive not a negitive.
Until the Christians and others come to admit that denial of the Divine Feminine is what got us where we are now, the sooner the world can move forward to a gentler, more peaceful existence.
I recently published the first book in a trilogy called: The Healers. A fictional look at a future world where belief in the Mother is the only possible way to survival. If you would be interested in learning more about The Healers, please visit my website at:
